The main objective of this conference is to exchange and discuss the latest informations on our understanding of the chemical and physical evolution
of interstellar environments including both the latest observations, theory and laboratory experimental data. This evolution results from
radiation-matter and matter-matter interactions. Interstellar matter is made up of a large variety of gas species (atomic or molecular, neutral or
ionized) and grains (inferred from their spectral signatures, but with composition and real morphology far from being known). A large variety of
environments exists where such matter is in collisional interaction and subject to irradiation by photons of various energies and energetic cosmic
rays. Much endeavour is being made to discover the links between these interactions and the resulting molecular complexity in the interstellar
environments as well as in planetary atmospheres.
